The Glass Bakery - Stellar’s Jay Hanging Chick

Described by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a "bird with an attitude"! Bold, bright blue with a black head, these songbirds are widespread in the woods of Western Canada. These whimsical glass birds will feel equally at home in your home too!

 Your hanging Steller's Jay is created entirely from glass, and conveniently threaded with clear monofilament for dangling in your window! The shape is designed and hand-cut, then layers of coloured crushed glass are built up on the clear shape before firing the bird is in a kiln over many hours.
